I got a Power Acoustik 3000D. it's amazing, runs at 2300 watts, rms!, at 12 volts, needed a new battery, a 2.4 farad cap and a 200 amp plate fuse, but it pounds my 15" to a regular 148 or higher (up to 149.4), it's nice!

earthquake....prolly my best comp. amp never has let me down..shuddered 2 JL w3, and one was starting to crackle..i love this amp, although i can't remember the model #

- Alpine MRV-1507 900 watts rms @ 2 ohms

- MTX 6500D 600-700 watts rms @ 2 ohms (2 of them strapped to a 15" inhuman sub [img]graemlins/headbang.gif[/img] )

- Clarion 1000 Watt digital amp (had alt problems, didnt run right)

900 Watts for the 1507 is at 4 ohms, it's not 2 ohm mono stable.

The Alpine will run at 2 ohms in mono with very little problem. They were Alpine's powerhouse....and still are !
