Well are you looking for something to use for daily driving??

I had a set of RE HC 15's and those were really sweet, you might want to consider the new model that replaced the HC which is the SX. Check them out at www.reaudio.com. You can also talk to northernspl about them, I believe he knows a lot about the subs

Also, for daily listening I have alwasy liked the Alpine Type R 12's. The Adire Audio (www.adireaudio.com) Brahma is a sweet sub as well, the RE XXX is sick too.

Now if you are doing SPL, the RE SX is a pretty decent option, the RE MT's are supposed to be great but I doubt you have enough power.

Look into Digital Designs (DD), they are pretty much the most used sub that I personally have noticed in SPL.

Others are Kicker L7's, Team RF subs, RE MT's, Shocker Sigs, Atomic AP/APX's, Treo subs etc.

Hope this helps a bit,
Craig G

Team RF subs running off a BD1500....Not likely.

Check out some good mid-priced subs from Rockford, Kicker, MTX etc...or any other well established car audio brand.

It is my opinion that for your application you do not need a 'boutique' type of sub..not with the power you have (unless you want something that not many people have)

Sorry, didnt read your initial post that well...lol.

I like Eclipse subs a lot too.

Not sure on how to compare (havent heard a ton of diff subs myself).

Maybe check out PAS mag and read some of Dave Mackinnon's reviews.

I listened to a 'max calibre' or some sort of Canadian small company on the recommendation of his review and it was quite impressive.

check out what the local shops have, and see what you like.

Then sell me your HX2's cheap!! lol.
