Like the title says I am just looking for now but would like some input on decks, I have a 9807 Alpine right now 4 volt preout. Would like to stay with alpine but is not nessesary, would like to have speaker control which I do not have on my current deck. please give suggestions on decks less then $1000 please thanks.

Do you mean built-in crossovers or output level control?

for street all you need is a deck that have a good remote control and a pause button. Other then that any deck will work fine. Most amps dont need a ton of input voltage to put out max power.

We use a pioneer 9300 ,but anything with 4 volts or more and a good pause button will be fine. Also make shure the remote has good range for street use.

Not an Alpine, the DB drag cd doesn't work to good in those decks.

Last years didn't work... but the season is over, meaning a new CD. I'm sure Wayne won't be making that same mistake twice!
