If you're at all worried about it being too much power a better option might be the SAZ-2500D.
The whole SAZ line makes all its power at 12V.

You'll be more than happy no matter which Sundown amp you do end up choosing.

I know I'm happy with the ones I have.

Actually the SAZ-3500D is perfect for two 13W7's. Just turn down the gains until the subs are broken in. I swear to you, if you get the SAZ-2500D it'll bug you thinking "what if I went with the SAZ-3500D..."

but are the 13w7's the best subs for it or the soundstream XXX's would be better choice?

Why not compliment your Sundown amp with some Sundown subs?
Nightshades or Z's can't really go wrong with either.

at least 2 runs of 1/0 positive, 3-4 batts in the trunk, possibly a HO alt but its might not be necessary, might just need an MLA module or XS power module to boost voltage

the best sub depends on what you want from it.
one is a SQ sub that can get reasonably loud.
the other is a loud SPL sub that has never sounded all that great to my ears.

Well thats the reason i dont want the L5's i have any more, there just noisy at high volumes, i want something that will go louder than the L5 but the base will aslo be crispier, as in the reason I was inquiring about the 13w7's.

And i havent really looked into the batteries in the trunk, i guess i'll have to find out what they do.... etc
