Super Street Fever

It is great too see some SS builds here, for me this always has been the best class.

It was said one: "You've got a real box when you can't pull it out of the car". haha

So, are your cars trailered? Daily driven? If so, what is the MPG? What do you plan to do equipment wise? How is the box made? How big is it? How did you sealed the box face from the back part? Have you discovered any tricks?

murilo, you are getting waaaaaaaay far ahead of everyone else with these questions.

no car here is finished and no car here is loud. no one here broke 157.5 yet.

Well, the competition is what pushes the scores, and from what I've seen so far the cars that already burped doesn't have much equipment, so...

Maybe we can share some ideas how to get SS cars loud, the thing shouldnt be so hard as some might think.

Here is a way to seal the box,

sheet metal cut with a grinder with a cutoff disc and weld it

after that I used 2x4s, rounded them with a planner and screwed it in.

you can use fiberglass too, gets real strong

just dont assume that the van has to burp that note...your going to use differest subs and different power level so re-tuning will be a must and your frequency will be whatever gives you the best score!!
