^^ agreed 100% round off the corners as much as possible...and yes I also have gained every single time I have resined the box's interior...sometimes as much as a full db...but make sure to smoothen it between coats..its more effective that way

 

Thats interesting! I'd like to play around with a TL sometime. Do you think this applies with the new AC sensor as well?

 

i have heard theories that the ac likes clipping.. but i have yet to see those theories proven..

 

I have noticed that the AC will accept a dirtier(clipped) signal when I compare to a TL i have to keep the volume lower to keep the signal clear and clip more on the AC to hit an even better number

i have seen no differances between the two mics. i get peak spl while clipping in both situations.

 

I get louder when I clip my burp...on every mic I've ever used. TL, old TL, AC, etc.
