not that im contradicting your judgement but what makes u say the treo would be best?? i am currently using a 10" infinity Kappa Perfect in a ported box rated at 350w RMS.

i bet you are running your sub in a prefab box. Thats ok but ill tell you a story , a customer of mine owns a 1968 Chevelle , in the rear of his trunk i custom built him a sub box sealed for TWO TREO TSX and it pounded big time on a EQ D10 , he also ran custom built speakers sets under his seats mids and tweets with a 4 channel power it.
Anyways the EQ amp is ratted higher than what you have and will out pound whatever impedance you decide to set you MA amp at. To make the long story short , he has never came back to my place besides when he needed his whole trunk sounddeadend because it was too much bass.

Its your money im just giving you me $0.02 of what I have tried 1st hand.

hope this helps
good luck

btw if you want some real amps there is a thread i made in the sPL section

I've usually been a 1 sub guy. just buy a decent one, make a nice ported box, get a big fat amp, and let it ****

more subs the better obviously but that all depends on your wallet right. I have always ran more than one sub since the 15 years i have been driving. Do you want loud or very loud ??
