Can some please reccommend me a box for my Type X sub? SEALED or PORTED? How big? Tuned to? IT'll be powered by a PG Xenon ONYX 1200.1

Not a whole lot of room, I listen to mostly rap.. let me know.

12" In a Pontiac Sunfire. At the back. Remember, not a ton of room to work with.

Anyone have a nice box made already for a Type X sub? Or should I get someone to build one?

Here's a few things people said, which would be the most accurate? I want this to be done right.. :/

1. Get that sub, nice 2.0(recommended, I believe?)^ft box after displacements at 32hz. Yum. Sound great and get fairly loud.

2. I'd build the biggest sealed box you can fit (Up to 2.3cu.ft...)

3. Dont go all too big, a 2.3^ft sealed box just isnt called for. lol

I think it suggests up to like 1.0 or 1.25 sealed, I would look at the specs and personally I wouldnt go any higher than what it says. Just me

4. i love the way mine sounds, the extention a amazing, 1.75 cubes tuned to 33hz(ish)

Have never owned a sealed box before, know that now. I've owned 3 boxes and all were ported.
