Well I'm taking a look at the rules page and and it looks like it was put together by a bunch of lab monkeys.

For one...the only "SPL" section for rules I see is under some "Outlaw SPL Rules" Now I may be feeling a little like a renegade from time to time but why's it called "Outlaw" while above they have "Legal Results" as well? Am I missing something?

Anyways as I go into the renegade rules the words they say and describe are beyond me so any help from you guy would be damn awesome!

Basically I got two 1200w amps, one 18" sub and a wall.
dB Drag • Street Max 1-2
idBl • Advanced 1-2

Any help!?

Cause outlaw is gay and u can basically put the mic wherever u want. Legal is when it's on the dash.
Outlaw u can put the mic like by your port or whatever so u can hit fancy numbers like 160 when in fact u like 140 or something.

Usually a wall is any part of your box including your sub or attatched amps that is over the window line.

And as for the Outlaw and Legal issue...are there any differences in rules?

Guys, call me with any questions:

1-877-4-westec

Here's a quick description of classes
Stock = Street 1st year of competing
Super Stock = Street 2+ years of competing
Modified = Super Street (stock before the "b") pillar"
Super Modified = Extreme

Microphone placement:

12 inches in, 4 inches from plane of the dash. Same as db drag! Or placed in a globe (metal cage) as placed anywhere in front of the "b" pillar. Example loading off the foot well.

Classes are done by wattage. See the amp matrix on the web. www.soundoff.org. Reason for this, I guy has a equake amp all modied up doesn't have to compete against the guy who has a $300 Kenwood amp. We already know who is going to win.
