Sorry

Back to the topic, I don't think 10's would work as well as a 12" in the Jetta. Mine peaked very low 44-46hz and had no problems burping with the 12".
But if you insist on 10", anything with a 1000 wrms rated will do you fine just tune the box to the subs.
A lot to read and at the end the last page i got about 400 names of subs that are half decent.

I been reading and liking the tfones.

My jetta is a 96. Right now I do have a 12" that is rated for 1000wrms. 3000 watts peak. Its the bassworx series 4. think staying with that would be a better choice then the 10"s?

if not maybe i will just stick with a single 12 since it seams u did very well with one. i just read a lot that trunks have a hard time. but i would prefer fixing a single 12" then 2 10"s lol.

about the whole AB helping "elite members" i am no where near being "elite" nor will i be for a while why spend money on an amp if they wont fix it?

what are the ones with 2 "DD"s on them? i cant remember the name but are they any good?

taking in all consideration if i stay with a single 12" i will still be put into the lower class also it will be easier for me to learn for the first while.

so what would you guys reccomend for a single 12"?

father yuli i been trying to find those "hawker" batteries and havent had much luck can u send me the site?

Either use the sub you have or buy a more sensitive one (DD 95, Fi BTL, AQ, TFone, etc). A good box, deadening, amp, and electrical can make all the difference, you don't necessarily have to buy a different sub.

Use and learn form what you have. Upgrade later.

Best advice would be to make a box where you can adjust the port and adjust the volume in the box, will save you time and money than having to build multiple boxes.
I usually cut my boxes many times to get the right tuning.

All the subs mentioned are excellent subs and will get ya loud.

Personally I'm partial to DC to my recommendation would be the lvl 4xl's. You can read up on specs etc.. at DC Audio - Home.

From personal experience the AB line of amps are tanks. I'll be catching up with Bob in Vegas for CES. lol Am I considered an Elite Member? 36 shows this yr but alas a Trunk cant own a world title or record in DbDrag lmao!!!

Dude... the only way it could be more obvious that it's you is if you put up a picture of yourself as your avatar.

You probably don't even realize it but you have a VERY destinct writing style that gives you away every single time.

Want to know how you do it? Yeah that's right, you always ask questions in your sentences and then immediately answer them yourself!

There are a few other ways it's obvious that it's you... but that'll be #1 for me
