what db can i get
with one focal sub (27h with one pg 500.2 amp )would 140 db easy [img]graemlins/dunno.gif[/img] 1.2 cft box
if i get a 27kx sub in a 1.2 cft box also with a p.g 500.2 amp
would the sub be a good move form the 27h to the 27kx ?

nothin is set in stone...some gain with the seats up some gain with them down. depends on the invidual setup and vehicle itself.
dec.3 is comin up pretty soon try adjusting your setup by ear....moving the box around etc.
Although your ear and the mic dont really have much in common generally you can get a pretty good idea of whats louder as far as box placement and amp/deck settings are concerned.

flap your 3rd row down or remove it cause u dont need it .
as for db place your box in the middle of your ride and play a sweep at mid volume and watch your score closely at the show
save your battery :þ for the next round and crank it where u peeked out before
