Ya, and peaking in the mid 50's... not sure how much SQ is in that box. Looks like a nicely glassed SPL setup. Not to mention them rear speakers do nothing for the sound stage, unless your standing behind the car. Looks more of a show car.

looks okay.

we could all (sq guys) build a car that hits 152, but when I listen to music at 120db max, why would I even want to?

Not dissin' whatsoever, but different strokes for different folks.

and true SQ can't be done at 152 in a car, European or not.

I'm willing to bet that he has a preset for SQ and it's far different than the setting he hit 152 with.

I'm in the boat that I want loudish while still maintaining SQ, but due to size limitations in a car, it can't be done. (properly)

Don't mistake SQ for "it sounds awesome for how loud it gets"

you would need 20 midrange drivers and tweeters (or ten ridiculously large ones) to keep up with a sub 152 and maintain balance (yes I'm aware of horns)

I have lots of room to add a couple monster amps and subs and switches to change over from SQ to spl, truth of the matter is that most spl guys don't care about SQ and vice versa.

still nice to see that some people like loud and to still have it look presentable though...lol

Now the question is, why can't our Canadian SPL guys make cars that look good if they can elswhere?

I know, no points for pretty!

Sorry, I wasn't very clear.
My point was that very few people that want to hit 150's care about SQ and vice versa, there aren't many cars that do both because there is just no demand for it.

Although, I am one of the few with something similar in mind, minus the switching of settings.

probably an exact match to the hood scoop for consistancy and attention to detail points. (j/k)

I'm a bit more of a purist. I've tried to influence Murilo with more "installer-esque" items like real doorpanels, trims, etc. Now if I could just get him to stop changing the darned design, I might be able to finish it

I'm drawn more and more to the SPL world - but I'm one that will make it pretty AND loud...i shiver when I see some of these installs....

my SQ system is damn close to 150db ..
the subs are tuned flat as a board and the front stage is just rediculous

it's cool and all but in all reality you have to be a special kind of person to
completely appreciate it....LOL
