That's a fantastic score... but it's still not even in the top 15 world wide for certified scores.

So saying you guarantee a top 8 might be a bit presumptuous

</font>[/QUOTE]ya but that's like top 10 in north amrerica, or close? and i won't expect that 5+ people in street B will be shipping there vehciles over from europe for finals. maybe 1 will, or possibly 2!

Plus i know i have 1-2 db's hiding in my subs. My dd subs are on order and they are 1.5 db's louder than my solko x's, plus i have lots andlots of time to workon my boxes! so mid 152's is reasonable to say beofre finals time?

oh ya. the 1.5 db's is a test from regualr dd 9512's, dual 1 ohm. i have 95's on the way that are dual .7's with 99 cones so tyhey will be really effiecent 95's. so i would expect probably more than 1.5db's louder than my x's!

may I ask why you need custom made subs?
how hard is it to take an "off the shelf sub" and make it loud?

I started off using the same sub at the begining of the season... doin 138or was it less...anyways..a few different boxes that the sub works well in ... figuring out what the car likes to play loud... im in the 148's

I do realize some subs are louder more efficient than others..but where does it end??
MDF is cheaper than subs...
$$ & subs might gain you your 1.5 dB
knowledge and work will gain you more
