lol they have some bad luck! Can't wait to hear the van again! mabye we will have to make a new port to tune it lower

Wish I could afford it, not even to compete, just to go and watch and learn...Got 55 points so far this season, could possibly make it if I really tried, but money doesn't allow.

I would be there, but it is right around the time of midterms for university, so I might be out for the next couple years.

 

It's amazing to me how powerful a force we Canadians are in the industry. When I first attended the IASCA Finals four years ago, I thought I was going up against the "big boys" from the U.S. and would get my a$$ handed to me, but I finished fifth in my first year and realized that we Canadians are highly respected in the U.S. and are considered serious competition! Hell, two years ago I finished second to Shaker Turgeon by only 1.5 dB at the Finals, beating out Jimmy Zimmerman in a tiebreaker by .5 dB... man I love competition!

I wish everyone the best of luck this year and hope you make it to whatever Finals you plan to attend, whether it be MECA, dB Drag, USACi or IASCA. I hope you make it there and show everyone what us Canadians are made of!!

We are a lot better than we give ourselves credit for and it's surprising how many of us feel that same way I did four years ago. We have the heart and soul and knowledge of first class competitors; all we have to do is show them... we're a lot better than we sometimes think...

I look forward to seeing many of you at the IASCA/MECA Unified Finals. I'll be the head judge for IdBL there this year, doing Team Canada proud in the judging lanes and I look forward to seeing a lot of Canadian cars through the lanes again this year representing!!

 

Moe, a few more of those posts and I'll be so jacked up that I'll enter Ult. 2 class with 2 8s.
