Nice vans, but SPL wise I'd use a smaller car with smaller drivers and the same power.

you can see some things here, like

1- expected X actual gains (formula is gain = 10 log P1/Po)
2- impedance dropping as you put more power
3- Power = voltage x current, Impedance = Voltage / Current, hehe

other funny thing: it does not matter what you have inside the box, will play the frequency dictated by the port

WOW that is one hell of nice build right there. Have you got any numbers with the 4 18's and 16kD?

 

not yet, with two SD8000s I busted 2 cones that we are testing. 11500W each amp voltage dropping to 15V.

 

reconing and testing on weekend, same SPL as 2 subs tough, only more power handling.

 

That's crazy power out of those amps. keep up the hard work bro.
