Hey I'm sure that some of you might have heard about a possible world spl comp. I'm just testing the waters right now, would anyone be interested in doing something like this.

It would happen some time in August, it would be a 3X show, points and certified scores will go towards finals. I would also need some corporate sponsors to do a show of this caliber.

I would appreciate any input that you guys have.

thanks

ray

obviously the center of canadian car audio, toronto... lol jk, here comes the wests comments. Probably find out where the most interest comes from then put it somwhere near there and try to accomodate people from farther away.

why not somewhere right in the middle like Winnipeg??!! i know it sounds bias.. but it could work?? also we have never had a multi point show here. i think one in winnipeg would bring out a lot of pople from out west and east! that's what we need!!! east and west rivals come togteher! LOL.. it would be a good opportunity for all!

If not have 2! have one lets say in Alberta, and also one in Ontario! i mean Canada is a huge Country and not everyone is wiling to drive 2000++ miles to get to a show!
just my $.02

I vote winnepeg, its near the middle and everyone hase to drive far. The people there go crazy over car audio but there is no shows there. Finding sponsors there would be alot easier.

Plus if its far we will see who the dedicated ones are that attend.

I don't think anyone is dedicated enough to drive 24 hours to go to winnipeg of all places for a triple point show to get beat down by every other country in the world lol

yea i dont think this is something that would be a good "see whos dedicated" type thing, cus im betting it will cost a pretty penny, so u dont wanna have 10 "dedicated" cars show up and end up in the hole.

if it were within reason distance away id probly go to get my butt kicked.... and show off the kia (hopefully all done by then) but i cant see myself driving to the peg for a show.....

lol i love the negative remarks from people for driving places. if we want any type of point more than 3- 1x shows a year we have to drive 16 hours to edmonton or 20 to toronto.

we obviosuly get your point that you do not like the idea, now leave the post alone..

personally i think two shows in canada would make alot more sense, i dont know which way id go, but im ust hoping i can compete again this year.

good luck
