a JL 8w7 is better then two Blaupunkt 10" overdrives. I got a demo of the JL in my car was amazed to see it do just as well as my dual 10's. Of course as the old saying goes, you get what you paid for.

I wan't to get away from having two subs but keep the same amp. So essentialy I need a higher quality sub which the w7's are. The 8" was great, how much better would a 10" be? I wan't to free up more room in the trunk.

I have heard the Overdrives and in the right box they can get quite loud. I don't see a single 8W7 taking them in spl but sq would be much improved.
Lot's of other choices out there for cheaper if you want to run a single sub and save space.
