we we not happy with the performance only achieving 148 db.
we decided we did not have enough power for a sub up port back application so we went to work...

so this turned out good with more output than the 4x15"s sa's but two things we wanted to do..
1 get more motor force
2 get rid of that awful red

sold the sa-15"s and got two sundown zv3's 15's

the output from the zv3's over the sa'a even on this low of power is staggering and sounds even better.

so far have not had the chance to get it on the meter but i will post results when we do.
to the ear its the loudest its ever been but the meter may say different

Badass !!!!! Nice work on the enclosure. Next time you "bend wood" make it so the cuts are done on the inside of the box.

my bad, the one picture looks as though it was done on the outside. What did you tune the enclosure to?

its tuned to 30hz truck peaks at 38 . we tuned higher before but it was a little harsh for daily prob gave up a db or two but plays 20hz no problem
