13w7
Hi everyone,
I have one right now in a ported box in the trunk of my 2008 accord coupe. My front speakers are k2 Power powered by a mosconi zero. Two questions:
1) how much more db and hard hitting bass would i get out of a second 13w7 on another hd 1200
2) Will a second one over power a set of k2

gains will control any over powered drivers. to combat road noise and get lower hz. although not sq recommended an epicenter will get ur 13w7 to play lower. end of the day its a cheap mod and very little work. if u got the dough just get a second sub run it off same amp. overall output will be modest. pretty sure there is math equation to ballpark final db

general rule of thumb...
double the cone area of the subwoofer = 1-3db roughly increase
double the power ex. 1k to 2krms = 1-3db roughly increase
This will all depend on the fine tuning, vehicle, box, rise, voltage, electrical stability, deadening and a laundry list of things needed to create the desired result.
w7's will take 1500 each no problem. I'd suggest going with something that does 3000rms + to combat them. especially due to the impedance from the subs. 2 w7's wire to either 3 or 1.5ohms i believe.
And your not gunna get 3krms from any amplifiers at 3ohm. So look at something like a sundown 3500z that does 3500@1ohm.
The krx2 focal comps will keep up with them yes from my experience with them they get plenty loud due to high sensitivity.
Excellent choice on the mosconi amps by the way. fantastic system. I hope your electrical is up to par.
Cheers
