hi guys i just got some focal 165 v2 speakers from a friend of mine for FREE there about 2 or 3 years old
im going to put them in the back doors of my jetta but i like to get k2p's for the front would it be a good mix k2p in front and v2 in back ?

and i know some of u guys sell speakers and amps here i live in toronto canada im looking for the 165 k2p's and a amp to run those speaker i like to buy them off one of the guys on this site if some sellers can msg me on the cost we can work something out.

 

K2P's would be an excellent choice....definatly one of the best sounding speakers Focal has ever made....they sound about the same as Utopias of a couple years ago....the difference being the TN-52 vs TN51 and the W cone sounds better IMO...slightly faster response too.

 

that'll be a great mix make sure you sound deaden all the doors well if you realy want the speakers front or rear to realy shine and k2p's love power I consistently run them with at least 100 watts rms for best results

 

just got my amp for the speakers its a audison lrx 1.5 its a 5 channel amp so im going to use it for everything but i dont no much about how it puts power to the speakers how much power are the k2p and v2 going to pull and how muhc are the subs going to get

 

Throw up a link to that amp. I have not been able to find that model # at all.

50X2(4ohm)+160wX2(4OHM)+1150wX1(2OHM)
50X2(4ohm)+250wX2(2OHM)+1030wX1(2OHM)

The LRX5.1k is a perfect amp for the aplication i have used in a few installs. Has lots of power for anything you want to run.
