2 alpine 10 inch type r subs

whats the most watts you have ever seen run to these subs. iam thinking about running a memphis 1500d to them

Ive seen about 700 watts rms run to a pair of type R 12's but Iam sure they could take twice that.

I don't know about 10", but I know single coil'd 12's I ran about 1200watts to each sub and they took it like a champ !

I have 2 10" Type R's, and am putting 600 watts rms to each of them with a pg xenon 1200.1. I can tell you these things can EASILY take much more than that.

I've seen 1000watts rms run to two type E's, for a brief period of time (short reminder, they are rated at 250 watts rms)
