For cone space...Four 8's = two and a half 10's.

If you go with four 8's, is your amp 1 ohm stable?

Going from two to four 8's will give you a three db increase, assuming same power. If you double the cone space and doube the power you should gain 6 db.

I had four eights.. loved that - was wicked fun - that install also confirmed for me I should never do installs alone Comes down to airspace, box size, power, and desired output. Error on the side of whatever one you can without restricting another too much.
