She's alive!!!!!
And here's a quick vid of it singing some Brian Bromberg.

Still a lot of cosmetic work to do, but I get to play with it while she's done.
Put some L1v1's just in case it went boom. LOL.

I have a question regarding the dashmat, im assuming that is a custom piece and what im wondering is is it made out of a special acoustic carpet so the sound can pass through it easier? I am curious because normally the carpet that they make these kind of mats out of would likely block/muffle some of the sound from the midrange and tweet.

I'm not using the dashmat on the video, but there is an audible difference with and without it.
Nothing to drastic and impossible to notice when the car is moving, but it does affect the high frequencies.
I have two different types of dashmats and will do tests with both. I'll also put an RTA on them to make it a bit more cientific.

Yeah I have to say I really love this build, its truly a very stealthy system and so cleanly done. I really like the use of the aluminum mesh on the dash, where did you get that mesh anyway? Oh and is that center console just a moded stock piece or did you build it from scratch because it looks bigger then normal to me?
