About Trunk Vibrations
#2
Years and years ago I read in a mag that a cheapo go around was a rubber roofing patch you can get at home depot. I think a buddy used it in his car to decent effect. Was a long time ago though.
You could try turning on the system and standing around making note of what rattles and then seeing if you can patch it before deadening the whole trunk. Might just be a loose light or the license plate....

What kind of car and what year?? Trunk vibrations caused by subwoofer soundpressure can be a pain in the a** to get rid of in some cars and a peace of cake in others. Definately listen to the trunk to try and hear where the noise is originating from. Sometimes it is coming from the latch area which is tough to fix. Trying Dynamat or a less expensive brand (B-Quiet) can work too. At least you will improve your SQ and SPL and at the very least minimize the trunk noise if not eliminate it.
Good luck - if you figure it out let us know.
