Alpine vs. Rockford Fosgate - HELP!!!!
Hello i cannot decide on these two amps:
--Alpine MRV M500 https://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_76304_Alpine-MRV-M500.html
--Rockford Fosgate Prime R500x1D https://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_67758_Rockford-Fosgate-Prime-R500X1D.html
I will be powering a single subwoofer, most likely Alpine SWS 12D (about 400rms at 2 ohms). I'm also looking at JL 10W0V3-4 (300 rms at 4 ohms) or Rockford Fosgate P3D4 (about 400rms at 2ohms).
which AMP and SUBWOOFER combo should I go with? And are there any major differences between the 2 amps? Is one slightly better or worse? SQ is my ultimate goal and I will also be adding another amp for the 4 speakers eventually.
