Alumapro Alchemy MX (8 ohm) Sub

I am looking for some advice about the Alumapro Alchemy MX subs. I am looking for a new sub setup for my car and have been offered two of these subs for about $300 USD.

Is that a good price for these subs? The enclosure measures 12.5" x 12.5" x 12.5" on the outside for EACH woofer.

The price included 2 Alumapro Alchemy MX 8ohm subs, and box. They are wired up to a 4 ohm load which would mean I would need a pretty beefy amp to drive them because it would have to put out 700W at 4 ohms.

I am told they are a clean fast responding sub. But I've never really heard of them so I am hoping a few people on the board have and can confirm or dispute the information I've been told about these subs.

Well I have tried posting on a couple of boards and I haven't been able to find any information about these subs.

I'd really like to know what they are worth new to know if I am being offered a good deal or not.

You may not have gotten as many replies over at ECA as those drivers have been talked about quite a bit over the past few months there. Try a search there and see if it nets you the info you requested.
