Question Amp overheat

I am using a MTX TA3202 (200W RMS) for a Pioneer ts-w256c 10" sub (350W RMS):, it always overheat ( it shut down for 30 seconds when I turn my system to half volume more then 10 mins ). Does TA3202 really not strong enough for it or anyway to solve the overheat problem? Should I buy another amp? thanks

Where do you have your amp mounted? Does it have enough air to breathe? In my experiences, MTX's always ran a bit hot, so you will want to have it sort of out in the open.

low voltage

read your manual. it should say the reasons for shut down. the main 2 are low ohm and low voltage. are you running mono or stereo make sure the mono wiring is as the manual suggets. good luck

That's weird.
In my experience MTX always run ice cold.
I'd bet the impedance is too low.

MTX makes great amps, and I've never run into heat problems with any of them...if properly installed. Make sure it's not mounted upside down( under rear deck etc...), covered, or blocked in. It needs ambiant air cooler than itself to stay cool. Like others have said, make sure it is wired properly.

Make sure you have a good ground as well.( sanded to metal and same guage as your power wire)
