To any and all people in the GTA who are running horns

So im wondering if anyone out there in the GTA who is running an HLCD front end on there car might be willing to let me come and listed to it sometime. I have spent years wondering what a car with horns sounds like and now I really want to get a chance to hear one asap, so if anyone out there has a such an animal and would be willing to let me take a few minutes to so graciously audition there setup then I would greatly appreciate it!

Wow, good luck with your search. That might be a tough one. I'm considering trying to shoehorn my USD A7.0s into my new car. If successful I'll be a one-only running HLCDs out here..

This would be a good car to listen to.. from Soundgood's Iasca Soundoff early this year. I believe it has the Image Dynamic horns in it, and it sounded great!

The outside horns or inside?

When you say horns, I think of those Americans in the south who hook up the megaphones below their car and "horn" their music.

That type of horn?

They're talking about Waveguides. Think of a car audio version of the horn tweeter on a PA or concert speaker.

They were popular in the early 90s with some of the biggest names in audio using them. They were a challenge to install, hard to dial in, but are virtually unrivalled in impact and dynamics when set up right.

look here: http://www.usdaudio.com/products/wg.php and then check out the install gallery too.

Hey Joe - IIRC you were running a set of Veritas horns. You still using them?
