Hey folks, I was wondering if anybody around the GTA has the ES-6 or ES-06 that maybe I could audition.

Id have a brand new pair of the es06's I'd be happy to trade for the focals

 

guess what, I decided to put the focal back earlier on and they sound amazing. the last time i had them in the door, they sounded like CRAP. Somehow I think it is an amp/wiring issue. I had to tone down the bottom end (250hz and below) quite a bit to clean up the mid range.

I don't want to buy them, just wanted to listen to them. I'm also interested in hearing the es-3,4,5,6

 

I'm running thr KF's in my wife's car and bottom end s NO problem. Runnng them 12db/octave HP at 60hz and no issues with uddying up midrange and we listen to alot of metal. Slayer sounds crisp and detailed. I think you severely lack sound deadening and your doors are resonating too much.

 

I've got a 3-way setup with ES-06s, and ES-4s. So, if there's a show in Ontario and you go, try to spot a black Saturn Ion. I'll be happy to have you listen.

 

I'm looking for shows. I want to check out other people's setup. I think there wont be any shows until spring.

 

not liking the ES-06+ after all that work on those boxes??

or are you looking to get a smaller box since the girl friend cant touch the floor!!
buy her a child booster seat like i mentioned and all will be good!! hehe )
