Are these excellent SQ subs:
OZ AUDIO MATRIX ELITE SERIES DUAL 4 OHM 12" ?

I know that the Focal Utopia 27WX and 33WX subs are excellent SQ subs, but I can't seem to find any online at good prices. Yes, I am willing to pay to play, but US$539.00 for one 11 inch SQ sub??

Some froogle searches:

There's got to be some other excellent SQ sub for less than that......

Lots of great sq subs out there including:

Resonant Engineering - XXX
Adire - Brahma
Image Dynamics - ID Max
MTX - 9500
JL - W7
AVI - EL, GS, SL
Boston Acoustics - 5-series
Crystal - CMPx2
Diamond - TDX
DLS - UR-series
JBL - GTi
Orion - H2
*Plus many others including some drivers not in production anymore.

Of course knowing your power range and what it is you expect from your driver would shorten the list.

Is your list in any particular order? Best to worst for example? I am very curious to know that.

Power is being provided by a Zapco C2K-2.0X (power on these amps is underated).

Here are the factory specs on the amp (what would you narrow your list of subs to now based on this?) - what do I expect from my setup? Excellent SQ system. Plain and simple

2-Channel High Current Amplifier with Dual Crossover Dual Outputs Stable into 1 Ohm Stereo Loads

Stereo, 4 ohms: 2x50 Watts
Stereo, 2 ohms: 2x100 Watts
Stereo, 1 ohms: 2x200 Watts
Bridged, 4 ohms: 1x200 Watts
Bridged, 2 ohms: 1x400 Watts
T.H.D. + Noise: <0.02%
Frequency Response: 20Hz - 20kHz; +0 dB/-0.35 dB
S/N Ratio: >100dB
Transient Distortion: <0.01%
Slew Rate: >26V/uS
Damping Factor: >900
Input Sensitivity: 1-4 Volts or 4-16 Volts
Dimensions: 13.5"L x 8.75"W x 2.375"H

I though you said over and over on multiple forums that "money was no object" ?

Are you trying to fit sound quality to budget.........or budget to sound quality. in the first case, you'll never get to your goal.

ebay....the definative source for SQ system selection

I never said that Jamie.
Not sure where you read that..... I have always said I am willing to pay for quality, but that does not mean "money is no object".

Second case is what I am after.

I think you've gone over the "which sub" sanario quite a few times.

Go listen to cars at a big show. Go to SBN and listen to all the winning cars down thier and make up your own mind.

Speakers are as good as the install, and tuning.

NO ONE CAN ARGUE THAT

btw
I know nothing about navigation.

This effectively answers my question.

I don't necessarily have to go with a super high end speaker like Focal Utopias that cost an arm and a leg.

Picking another good sub and having the install done very well and tuned very well will yield a top notch audio system.
