Man it must really suck for you guys up there in canada. I guess it must be hard to get decent equipment for a reasonable price or something. Cause For what you pay down here in the U.S. Arc makes a damn good product.

Its like .65 cents a watt. Comparing prices with JL who i think is of lesser quality (amp-wise) there products are more than $1 a watt.

Sure wish i could get 3 ARC 1500d for my truck, instead of my 3 JBL. tha'd be bad!

Dennis,

I've found the Class A booster circuit to provide the biggest audible improvement at low volume levels. Once you crank it up, it's kind of redundant since the amp runs in Class A/B mode to produce higher voltage/current. Considering that I mostly run my system above average volume levels, I wouldn't recomend that kit unless you were powering tweeters (because they take less power and would allow the amp to remain biased towards class A operation.)

That said, I ran my comparison head to head.

I hope that clarifies things,

Adam

Well, like most things in life, it's not about what you know, its about WHO you know. If you know the right people anything can be resonably priced. But there's really only 2 ways that happens, It's stolen, or your sponsered. If you have a sponsorship then usually, your not going to be paying the same as everybody else. But to get sponsored you first gotta pay the outrageous prices for "the good stuf" and compete.

Nah, just mine.

Actually, what life? You mean the thing between work and sleep? That, for me, is called a drunken stupor. Unless I'm working on my van or other people's vehicles when I SHOULD be working on mine.
