SO unless this slows down, I won't continue! For those of you that desire the same thing as I am, it is time for you assist me in calming down those who are slowing us down...

I have created a Poll to determine if I am wasting my time!

Rather than continuing in the same inefficient fashion, I'd rather simply move on unless by a show of votes, that the majority of you in fact desire to learn what you can from various posts that I up load etc...

The Poll will last 5 days and if it's determined that I am wasting my time I will move on.

I will be going dark (in terms of education) until after I have the results - cheers!

well i appriciate what you are trying to due and i sure as hell know that most people know alot more about car audio than i due.. but if you are telling a newbie in construction on how to build a house, whats the relevance to telling him how 2x4 are made?? who cares.. show him how to pick good ones and move on. thats all iam trying to say... now with this web site.. there are more engineers, tech geeks, audio warriors, then there are newbies and probably even less sq newbies. so i think, now iam just guessing here, but i think we can cut the trivial stuff and give up something that we dont know or havent thought of yet.. sq tips, secrets of the trade.. ect.. its your thread you do with it what you want.. but its just some friendly advice... as far as my # of posts, 90% of the typing lingo on here i have no idea what it means.. hell i dont even own a cell phone and just bought my first computrer 4 months ago.. all of this usually comes from the computer at work.. lol....

 

We are clearly not on the same page - tradepeople are not the designers of the homes - but we are the designers of the sound system and our job is many times more complicated then swinging a hammer and cutting wood. Such things represent at best 1%of what we do...

 

This guy is looking for "like minded" people and people who want to learn from him and his beleif system (where he beleives he knows it all). If he does is most definitly up for debate hehe... but he doesn't welcome debate because in his wolrd he knows it all. And thus why I stoped addressing some blatent ... well anyway.

I agree with John V, there are a lot of words and very little usable content. The first big post he copied from I forget where about alternators and such read like a "how to upsale to customers" to me.

I don't think he should go though.

Before I vote I need to know your objectives and the manner in which you intend to achieve them. If the objective was to lay down a lot of words and cause controversy then I would say you have spent your time well.

At this point I would vote yes, not to imply that I think you should leave but that so far this thread has been, unfortunately, fairly unproductive.
