audio hiss

well we experimented with the increasing front stage power.. we everyone was right the difference was like night and day .. but now i have a different problem.. i am getting a slight hissss out of the speakers now.. i have all the gains turned to min on the amps,processers.. i tried different rca cables. its funny i never heard the hiss before.. what should i try or is this normal to have alittle hisss.... should i try using a noise gate?

Sounds like a noise floor problem..
I'd suspect the eq first as well..
Go through and level match it all as well..
I had the same problem with the Kicker system I ran a few years back... just horrible hiss if te gains were turned up at all.. Too much signal from the Eq's
