So..... Doan, Did you listen to the Thesis on your own?? What set them apart? (Thesis VS TRU)
and please don't say the price......
</font>
my bottom of the line tru 4.100 sounded better than zapco's top of the line 4.0x and sounded better than my old vrx. i have no heard the thesis but from the person who is the distrubutor for seas in usa and from the magazine who both tested both, they both agreeed that the audison fell short to the tru class a in listening tests.

funny, but in testing, the tru technology A class stomped on the Thesis, at half the price. but then again, ferrari could market a chevette as a luxury car and people would pay 500 grand for it.
In what part or type of test did the Thesis fall short on? </font>
the listening/sound quality portion of the test

For all of you here in Ontario, there is rumour that a Thesis Vehicle will be started soon. The system will have 2 Thesis', one for the subs and one for the front end. When it is done there will be an unveiling and all who want will be invited to experience music nirvana. Any guesses what the speakers may be?
sounds like a waste of money going passive and going on subs

If this is like a lot of SOTA projects (State Of The Art) then this makes little to no money, it just gets everyone talking about Audison (like on this forum). I have not heard it but I have lifted one up and it is heavy!

I saw one at Scott Buwalda's summit in Buffalo. Cool looking piece. Never heard one though. From the rumor mills, the Thesis won in some european magazine test, but won on features. TRU came in second and apparently beat it on sound quality and something else. I think I have that article somewhere. But what was said above was dead on. Let your ears decide. And not many people playing at this level so finding them to do a comparison would be interesting on it's own, although not impossible.

Would be interesting to see an equipment line-up on par to match the capabilities of the Thesis. Price tag would likely be pretty large. Alpine F1, with some Be's and I wonder what else.
