Elemental Designs
It has a Vas. of 66L and they recommend a 0.5cuft box. The power requirements are in the ballpark.

the sq10 looks like it would be well suited to 180 watts and seems to be getting great reviews.

On 180w? I think not.

Looks like a very good place to recommend an Image Dynamics ID series (no not the IDQ the ID would be better suited for this amount of power).

There's some nice driver's out there ot recommend in smalll sealed applications but with this limited power and the desire of great SQ there are much fewer choices in todays high-power/low-sensitivity driver era.

Didnt know he had just 180watts.
Thats really low. Especially low for sealed applications.

I really appreciate all the feedback, guys, . ... awesome. The Eclipse SW7000/7200 look like they'd perform well in that size of enclosure but just how efficient / inefficient are they? I can't find a spl rating on them anywhere?

Remember, I want good depth and quality. I don't need 130db . .. I'm a bit past that stage now.

Actually, I guess that would be too little power at 180W.

Would prolly be ok on 500WRMS.

you may want to look for an older sub, an RF or kicker from the late 80's 90's if you can find one. They performed quite well with that power level. Otherwise, stick with the entry level models in most good brands as they tend to be more efficient and optimized for lower power...they still usually sound very good. I suggest the Alpine s-series, Infinity ref, JBL gto, etc...I think one of the members has a Canton 10" sub in the for sale section that needs 200watts...that would be perfect and sound great.

The Cantons are woofers not subwoofers, wouldnt give him the deepness he is looking for.
