my vote is the SQ10 as well.
i've been doing a lot of reading and its making some big waves.
right now its listed at $55 i believe. Word on the street is that it will be increasing in price as of Feb 1/07 to about $90~
even at that price its a hell of a deal IMO

FYI, I stuffed the box with batting and there is a noticable improvement in the bass. I can't really say that it's any deeper but it is certainly more controlled .. . . tighter.

I can probably live with it now until I get a better sub/box combo. I noticed when I pulled the driver that it is a PG QXe124 . ... a pretty low-end sub. I'll probably replace it in the next few months with something in a 1.5 - 2.0 cu. ft. box that has better bottom end. This will be fine in the wife's car

I've always been fond of the JL Audio 10w1 sound - I've owned probably 3or4 of them since 1998 - The new 10w1v2 - didn't disappoint me at all!

In a proper sealed enclosure and with 150 watts she kicks pretty well.

Try a 10 in a ported box...IDQ-10, 10-W1, 10-W3, and lots more do a better job in that kind of size/power range than most 12's sealed.
