Wow, this thread sure is useful with all these nice tweeters listed, yet with so little mention of listening impressions, how they were installed, what power and tuning was applied, suitability to particular applications ... YAY for teh interweb!

Answering what the original poster asker for.
Everyone who answered supposedly heard what they posted so why don't you ask them their particular impressions and applications if thats what you want to know.

I particularly liked the RF Splitz tweets I had in my Avenger. Paired with a RF Power 4" mid in the kicks and an RF Audiophile 6.5" midbass in the doors. Power was from a punch 40i running stereo. Very smooth. If RTA is your thing, I had a print-out from an IASCA comp where they were actually ruler flat wtih only 1 deviation from around 8k-20k I think. The car had no EQ.

My last setup used a pair of $40 Dyn D25 rip-offs that were too very nice. Needed a 4" cutout though. But I tend to prefer soft-domes. I'm actually always on the hunt for a set of nice Alpine 6022s. Large-format tweets are the bomb Judging comments were always positive about them. They looked fancy but didn't cost it.

I've listened to a pair of Focal TLR's that were part of an extremely well-tuned system. I just remember the whole system sounding wonderful but I guess the part to say about that tweeters was that they were seamlessly intergrated into the rest of the system.

with my experience I have found the JBL Titaniums with the GTI comps to be the best
they are clear as glass..very VERY good impact and outstanding extended freq response

they are the tweeter behind the 7 strait years of Team JBL's dominating of the
SQ comps and the 660gti has taken home the ESISA award for the best in car
speaker system against comps worth up to 13,000 a set
(I have 2 pairs of these in my system)

but unfortunately they are only available with the components

I have a set of Focal Utopia's...they are OK and I just sold a set of
CDT ES .07 X3 components...I was not very impressed with the CDT's

Morel, I'm pretty sure it was 4 or 6 sets of 6.5/5.25/1", I wish I could hear it again.

so far this is what iam hearing... focal makes a fine tweeter but it should be the "be" line... also alpine and scan speak with there revolver tweeter, morel supremo and seas 002. but while playing the same music in the same vehicle with only changing out these tweeters............ how much of a difference would you really hear??? massive, minimal, none? does a 120 tweeter compete with the 350 dollar revolver? can you justify the price difference to sound difference?? i posted because i run the quart qm25hc. i like them i do very well with them, but if i went to a focal be,(which is what iam leaning towards) would the difference put me from canadian usaci and iasca sq champ to world champ? remember i will change out nothing just the tweets!! quarts for............. focal.?????????morel.????????? scan-speak.???????????? seas???????? what do you think gang. oh and yes to go to worlds i will be changing out more than just the tweeters so no comments on what i have to do to go to worlds..

Recently I had the privilege to audition these beauties and if I'm not mistaken they are loaded with the Scan D2904/6000 or a model close to it. Absolutely mind blowing sound - @ $75K only

V Speakers by Von Schweikert Audio - The worlds most musical speakers.
