a young kid bought it, still had the servo 15" and all the speakers in it, sounded like dog ****, had a blown amp etc...we build some new kick pods for it and put new amps in it...... then he got drunk and ran a red light.......killed a girl walking her dog.....now hes a pilot for air canada.....go figure

it would be interesting to see what difference the cars used for gear to achieve the great sound......did the ones that sounded best use centers, or no center channel or was it in dolby digital......great sound is great sound i agree......it would be neat to know what they people did to achieve it

Of the current cars competing, I think Matt Roberts truck needs to be mentioned. Great tonally and well focused imaging.
I'm looking forward to hearing all the best cars next weekend at finals. I won't be in it this time around, but that will just give me more listening time.

Best I've heard that I can think of is Joe Yau's 91 T-bird SC. Heard it in 2005 at a local show and it was sure sweet. Awesome soundstage, excellent center and tonality that sounded so effortless and open. It was a real treat to listen to. No EQ in that car at all. No processors either. He does have a TEF-20 machine though for sound analysis but that machine is only a listening tool. It does no processing of the sound. It's my goal to capture that kind of sound in my new system.
