My favourite car tweeter is the one from the Canton QS set. Currently have it installed. Smooth as silk and like Dukk said "frequency response out to infrared " My only complaint is that you can't cross them any lower than 3khz. I'm replacing those tweeters with DLS Iridiums.

morel mdt33, one of the fastest tweeters in the world, ultrasmooth on axis, horrendous off axis. best value tweeter in the world
scanspeak revelator7000, alpine F#1 version. best all around, frequency response, off axis, gets nuclear loud without ingition. best in the world imo and i ve heard the focal be's in 2 cars. very nice, but not rev nice
best inexspensive tweeter. the morel mdt30, show me a better tweete under 150/pr retail

I have no idea on a personal favourite. Lately, haven't been listening to much critically due to body fatigue............... too much work, not enuf time to enjoy the better things in life. But if I had to choose something ............
Dynaudio MW330D........ if you have the room, and I'm not kidding about that either cause it's BIG. Even if this piece sucked sonically (which it doesn't), it's still my fav because it's damn sexy and down right a monster !!!! (ok, that's a stupid reason to like a piece of audio equipment, but whatever)
Max excusion of 3+ mm and power handling for 10 ms of 1000 watts......... net weight 1.6 kg.......... baaaaaaaah, ha, ha [img]graemlins/beer.gif[/img] Best tweeter EVER.
