Capacitor

I have a 3.0 Farad Capacitor that has a digital display, and it fllickers, and sometimes it doesn't even come on. Is this fixable? Is it just a wire loose or what can I do?

Thanks for help!

The displays on the caps we sell only come on when there is a change in voltage. If I start my car the display will come on to show the higher voltage, it will turn off after a while if I leave the car at idle.

Sell it or throw it out. This kind of cap has NO place in an SQ system. Sorry, you ask anyone that seriously into SQ and you'll hear the same story.

Sell it somewhere..... ebay it........ get some cash back in your hands and put it towards improving your system in other ways. There's lots of people that love these things but they are a HUGE waste of money.

If you have done the big three, ya got a 260 amp alternator, and three optima batteries then the capacitor will help your system b/c you have the power to charge the cap and maintain a 14+ voltage.

cheers
