Cascade Deflex pads

Has anyone had any experience with this product? Does it actually make a noticeable difference in mid bass clarity?

Lov'em!
Especially in the midrange/woofer frequencies...never tried them behind a sub so can't say how well they might work there.
I found a significant increase in midrange clarity. My technique involved gluing the pads inside the kickpanels, directly behind the mid and woof drivers, one for each driver.

Worked very well for me. They were placed directly behind the midbass drivers, which are located in door panels. Proper sound-dampening was also applied in the doors. Improved the mid-bass response considerably. Much more punch and snap.

I would suggest adding some layers of Dynamat or brown bread deadener behind the doors first...I have about 6-7 layers directly behind the woofer...and a deflex pad glued directly behind the woofer...adding layers to the doors increases upper Midbass responce...can cause your speakers to sound muddy if frame is poorly designed.
