what is their model number and would u be happy to sell just 1?

I'd suggest an IDQ 10".......... but you'll never get that sort of pricing up here locally. But it's a good investment if you want awesome sound quality. I still consider the IDQ series one of the best SQ subs on the market and definitely the best on the market for the money spent.......... even at local Canadian pricing.

I just saw your other post and replied to it too, forgetting that you had this thread going too. Whoops They are part of the RS6 component set and are technically called "Pullman" 10" woofers. I'd rather sell the pair. My wife has been buggin' me to get them out of the garage They are still boxed though and brand-new.

yeah from the looks of it IDQ is a good bet

but avaiability seems really bad or i just dont know where to look

i guess i should start calling up local shops

Tom, do you know which dealers in BC (around vancouver or burnaby) carry IDQ 10's?

if not then i might be interested in the canton 10" sux 2bu has to offer
but i can only buy one, trunk space is really small in my car
even smaller than a jetta's

I think I just PM-ed you. Anyways, if you have a dealer you like to work with, let me know and it's likely we can work out something with them to get you what you need.

do you really want cheap?

Kicker 05 CVR10 4-Ohm
50-300 watts RMS, dual 4-ohm voice coils, double-stitched SantopreneŽ rubber surround. $68.00

Alpine SWS-1042D
900 watts 10" subwoofer , dual 4-ohm voice voil, aluminum frame with perimeter venting. $72.00

Clarion PXW1051
1000 watts peak power, 500 watts RMS, Kevlar/Paper composite cone design, Dual gold plated block terminals. Dual 2 Ohm Voice Coil
$88.00

All US prices, so plus shipping and taxes duties customs.
But that took me a total of 6 minutes of internet searching.

^ Man the truth is that most sealed 10s are going to sound so similar that it really doesn't matter.

You want a new, readily available, inexpensive 10 that is going to sound good in a moderately small sealed box? Try a basic Pioneer 10. Going to cost $100 Canadian, at most, pretty much anywhere and they sound decent.

definitely. i would have to say that most subs under $200 CDN are going to sound very similar in-car in a sealed enclosure, unless there is a significant difference in output (more xmax, more sd, etc); sq differences in subwoofers are not as readily apparent to begin with.
