There are some CDT components available in the GTA...great value for the level of speaker IMO

i want to keep the speaker hidden in the doors.

im not to sure how much a set goes for but i dont want to pay more then $300-$400 components set and amp, i dont mind getting used gear. so what im asking is what do u guys rec for a component set? and what amp for run them?

Thanks

Morel Tempo's are in that price range, I have 75watts RMS feeding them and that seems plenty enough.

The speakers are actually 120watts RMS though,,,

Madisound has an Aura comp set on the cheap. They are suppose to be great at three times the price.

I believe the Audison avk6component set falls into you price range and deserve a listen too.

new to the forum, but I have a small trouble deciding since I've been out of car audio for so long.

current system pretty much dates me to 2001 except for the subs which are recent replacements.

Xtant 3150c
Focal 130k
Clarion HX-D10 deck
Xtant P500 parametric
Hertz ES200 8" subs x2

Lately, the Focal 130K cuts in and out. don't think the drivers are blown since they sound great when they work, but rust on the connections are probably the culprit...given that the speakers are 12 years old, won't kill me to replace now.

since the shop I dealt with sold me Hertz subs, they are recommending the Hertz Hi Energy HSK 165 components to replace my Focal's

would I be happy with the Hi Energy Coxials instead? My current focal's have the tweeter mounted in front of the the woofer like a coaxial anyways.

Life and family as I mentioned don't really let me indulge like I used to upgrade to Focal's and I'm hearing the newer lines are much brighter.

if the difference is noticeable, then my wife won't mind me paying more than double for the HSK components but saving $200 is still saving $200 to get the Hi Energy Coaxials instead?
