competing, I guess all the manufacturer vehicles were out on the "show" floor, I didn't check any of them out other than the Hybrid one, didn't know which others competed.

I dont think there were any "manufacturer vehicles" competing but several Team Hybrid, Team Zapco, Team Arc Audio were there for MECA and IASCA as well.

one of us is confused (I'm betting me) I mean the class in iasca, you know, the one with unlimited bonus points, I thought the name of the class was manufacturer. I'm asking since it was posted here that the hybrid mustang won that class, what were the other competitors in that class that it beat.

they listed the results on a thread on DIY, but it didn't list a second third or otherwise, was curious if there were vehicles I missed at the show.

here's the only list of results I can find, obviously it's incomplete and I'm the nosy type.

From what I understand, none of the other manufacturers decided to compete. This does not detract from the fact that the Hybrid vehicle produced the highest sound quality score of the show.

thank you for the response, I wasnt at all trying to detract from any accomplishments Hybrid or any other cars achieved, I was just wondering what other cars I missed for my 48 hours of driving.

No problem, I just find it sad & a sign of the times that none of the other manufacturers decided to compete.

Maybe they just realized they didn't have a prayer and decided not to enter and embarrass themselves?

kinda kidding there, but entirely possible.

I see what you're saying, and yup, all is in a sad state right now.

or perhaps more likely...they all just spent a wad at c.e.s. and driving all the way to florida for a sound off was a waste of money and they would be little if no gain by going....or maybe they were scared....lol

The ironic part is that a lot of the manufacturers had cars there for show only.

YA THAT'S IT Defro! Lets just take away all the accomplishments of all the winners in every class of the show as they really didn't compete against the best cars as they were not there due to BUDGET restraints. Give me a BREAK. I can answer your budget theory very quickly here but I would like to know first if you are referring on your post about competitors or manufacturers. Please remember to answer carefully as CES only caters to 12 volt industry members and not the general public. But I know u know this...

AT SBN all the cars there, were very good and all brands were present in one way or another..... and u know what the best cars won.

AND laslty defro...I cant wait to judge your car someday!
