yes there will be a hertz 10" woofer downward firing.....it should load very well with the floor

 

im pretty stoked to just get it finished and start driving it and listening to it

 

alpine deck....... and the audison bit one has proven to be a piece of crap and likely wont make its way into the build.....so i have a spare pxah900 around as well as a pxah701 that might end up in there......if hertz made a real good 5.25" even close to the focal be.....trust me it would be in there.....as for the new alpine speakers they dont make any good ones and f#1 status stuff is long discontinued so it didnt make sense putting them in there......i have a set of f#1 3 ways that i considered but i wanted all the speakers to be on top of the dash and to be new product

 

the clarus 5.25" is very good, not as good as the focal b.e. and the clarus tweeter is embarassingly bad compared to the mid.....just put in the legatias and they were good but not great....hopefully after some break in and some tuning they will impress like ive been told they will

 

the software sucks and locks up and half the time wont sync with the laptop.......the unit itself locks up if left on for more than a day and has to be hooked up to the software that doesnt work half the time in order to get it to work again.....they should have left it in r nd for alot longer to get hte bugs worked out......its been out for a few months and it already on its 3rd or 4th version.....not a good sign.....oh yeah and 31 bands of graphic and not 1 band of perametric eq is pretty dumb as well.......hence why i have ran all the extra wires needed for what im sure will be the inevitable install of h900 or h701......
