the clarus 5.25" is very good, not as good as the focal b.e. and the clarus tweeter is embarassingly bad compared to the mid.....just put in the legatias and they were good but not great....hopefully after some break in and some tuning they will impress like ive been told they will

Sorry about your luck with the unit. A simple hardware flash would probably solve your issues. Make sure your computer isn't running virus, spyware, adblocker any thing that can reject or try to control the connection. It's probably hanging due to this.
start>run>msconfig>startup>disable all

.............. I have to say, even though those pods are a great way to go acoustically, I'm no fan of the aethetics of the design generally speaking. But without doing a complete dash over-haul, your options are limited to pods like these. But I still don't like them. 
I've sat in a ton of cars done this way and I always find they are a distraction when driving to some degree............... one way or another (thsi is only my personal opinion). The only car I ever thought with the dash pod design that was cool was Earl Z's 5 series BMW with the pods that rose out of the dash................. mind you, that was a LONG time ago and requried a dash overhaul.

the dash and custom deck mount are completed....the amp rack is going to be a bit before its completed......im just enjoying listening to it and driving it right now....the 10" woofer under the dash worked out very well....better than expected....i will post pics next week
