Ya its a smoking deal for that much power. I am going to run a T3-500D that does 1000W rms. Damn I was suppose to stay mild.

Earthquake phd10000/2 is 1000 rms at 4 ohms, actually rated at 2500 at 4 ohms 14.4v...roughly $1100!

If you wanted to go old school Precision Power A1200.2 puts out a little over 1200wrms x 1 @ 4 ohms. The amp will run you around $500US off ebay.

^ holy, it's packed pretty good eh?

How does it sound? I remember back in the day, everybody hated the Earthquake amps because they sounded like kief, I don't want anything like that....it can't add anything to the sound, it needs to be invisible.

Heard the T3-1000D about a month ago and it's sounds great and crazy loud. Im in the process of installing a T3-500D in my ride. Going to run Blaupunkt comps front and rear, and an pair of Bassworx series III 12" subs free air. The Ultimate amps remind me of the USAMPS with real power rating and that industrial look. And want to use something different then the masses.

That's my goal. I have a thing for rare equipment...either stuff that few people have heard of or equipment that makes people say " hey, I haven't seen one of those in about 15 years". But for a sub amp, it needs to be fairly new so it's a little more efficient than the old stuff.
