DRZ9255 easy question.

Will my signal output on the deck to the amp be 14.4V or 12V without a preamp using my deck?

huh what the hell? you mean the RCA pre out voltage? if so not even close to that!

hold on a sec....

ok pre out voltage is rated a 4V but you have to put a multi meter on em to find out what they are actually doing....

the voltage your amp runs off depends on your battery/charging system... nothing to do with the deck.

if your battery(s) can maintain 14.4v and you have a big alt then you can run at 14.4v all the time.. but everyone has voltage drop.... amps rarely ever make there rated power because they almost never get solid voltage.

Ok so pre amp is simply to boost the rca signal and adjust it correct.

Will capacitors help maintain a 14.4v ive got a newer truck with 0 guage running to the amp.
