I'm thinking of changing the front speakers in my current install. Was having a look at the Dynaudio stuff. The 3-way set in particular catches my eye.
Anyone here have any experience with Dynaudio(good or bad), or know if there's a dealer in Ontario, etc.
Any help would be appreciated.

you would be hard pressed to be dispointed with that set. if you can, try your best to give the midbass its appropriate air space.
btw, you may want to simplyfy the system the system and go with a high quality 2 way system like a seas lotus... makes the install much easier, not to mention the tuning.

Thing is, I might be picking up a 1990 BMW535. These things have kick-panel space to die for!
I like the idea of dropping in one of Dynaudio's 7 or 8 midwoofers in there.
Would be nice to be able to demo anything you wanted in your car before buying it. Sigh.

535 huh? have you seen the Ear Zausmer (sp?)bimmer install?
the focker eventually put 15's in his kick pannels (with some mods of course...
that would be very good reference! i still have the magazine laying around somewhere. i'd say get an 8 or even 10" in there if you can!

Yeah, I've seen the install. Talk about install!!
15" woofers in an aperiodic enclosure, vented into the fender area. Very nice.
If I did stick a couple of 10" drivers up front, I'm just kind of wondering where exactly to put my midrange speakers.

I own 3 sets, love 'em. I started with a System 220 back in 1998. I've since bought two System 240GT's and am using the original 220's for rear fill with one of the 240's doing front stage duties. The 2nd 240 set is waiting for my next car.

Anyone have any experience with their subs? I've paired the dyn's up with Orion XTR's, PPI Pro's, and most recently IDQ-12's (Arc Audio version) and like the IDQ's the best...

Ted
