Once you set your gain properly you should be fine.

Ok so those max dimensions you gave would do 2 fi q 15's optimal ported, do you have a specific tuning freq? If you dont know I can suggest one, Fi suggest 28 to 33 hz.

What type of civic do you have, sedan, coupe, hatch?

What is your prefered sub and port orientation if you know? If you dont know I can make suggestions.

I'm pretty new to the customizing my system, so I don't have any idea about port sizes and how they make a difference. Suggestions would be very much appreciated. As far as my civic it's a sedan and the backseat can fold so I'm pointing these guys right at the back of my head, bass-face here I come.haha
